Kiraitu Murungi Reflections.

 I have read that story by governor Kiraitu on his experience with covid. It's an honest account of how he felt when he was faced with certain death.

He prayed for a second chance and got it, thanks to the almighty. He is also thankful to his brother Dr. Miriti and other doctors from Nairobi Hospital who responded swiftly to what he experienced and had him admitted. Not many Kenyans are lucky in that way.

He goes on to say that “ You cannot defeat death. Even Lazarus who was raised from the dead eventually died again. “

We can get the feeling and emotions the governor went through while in hospital and at home during treatment and recovery. A lot of Kenyans can identify with his fight to get well and his prayers for a second chance. Governor Kiraitu has fought well.

We are hopeful that we get to see another side of the governor going forward. We wish him the best. We pray for him and others who are undergoing the same situation.

Finally, he has shared something great for us to read: SENECA “ On the shortness of life. “ the philosopher states that …..” our lives are not short, we only waste them with irrelevant things. “
